The 50-year-old recognized e-commerce and finance specialist is very much looking forward to his upcoming tasks: "It is the goal of the European League of Football and the Frankfurt Galaxy to present sports at the highest European level to all football fans in Hesse. The foundations for this were laid - despite Corona-related restrictions - in the 2021 premiere season. Now it's a matter of following up and also developing the environment further."
In the Internet industry, Ziesche is considered a digital mastermind. But the Galaxy's new CEO discovered his love for football back in the days of the former NFL-Europe, when he produced the music CD for the Men in Purple's famous Power Parties, among other things.
"Of course we want to defend the title," Ziesche said. "But American football is much more than just the sport. It's a happy family event, it's relaxed business networking, and it's a big, communal party." The new Galaxy general manager wants to focus on the fan experience. A successful party includes rousing music, pyro show, stadium DJ, American food & drinks, the Galaxy Cheerleaders' show and everyone's best friends and family.
On June 5, 2022, the football and party season kicks off with the tradition-rich clash between Frankfurt Galaxy and Düsseldorf Rhein Fire. Both teams are planning a joint fan party to kick off the season. "For us, in addition to the sporting event, the common experience, respect and friendship is the focus."
