It awarded the store last week in Berlin as "Store of the Year 2018" in the category "Concept Store". A success of which the team of the cooking studio can be justifiably proud. The unique concept as the first walk-in food blog scored points in particular: With its offers, the Maggi Kochstudio Store merges the online and offline presence of the brand and perfectly implements digitalisation at the point of sale. At Maggi, Youtube influencers, among others, present themselves while cooking in the space, and the products are skillfully and excitingly staged, the jury's statement said.

The judging panel that made this award is made up of seasoned retail experts. They evaluated the nominated concepts according to the criteria of degree of innovation, customer benefit and value creation potential, among others. A total of around 50 retail companies had applied for this year's award.
The fresh and innovative Maggi Kochstudio store is the stationary home of the Maggi Kochstudio bloggers, who produce content for the brand's digital channels on site and at the same time seek personal dialogue with consumers. This means that store visitors can, for example, watch shoots for online videos live on site. That in itself is a unique selling point that sets the store apart.
The new store consists of a food court, shop and cooking class kitchen. In addition to delicious, freshly prepared lunch dishes with a changing weekly menu and a snack offer for small appetites, the integrated brand store with a wide selection of Maggi products and kitchen utensils invites customers to browse. The cooking class kitchen with state-of-the-art kitchen equipment offers space for a variety of cooking events for up to 20 people. Thanks to the flexible room concept, the store can also be used for events related to cooking and nutrition.
The HDE awards the "Store of the Year" retail property prize annually in the categories Food, Fashion, Home and Living, Out of Line and Concept Store. The award ceremony took place during the 14th Retail Real Estate Congress in Berlin.
