#frankfurtbrauchteuch: A big thank you to all VGF employees - and not just them!

(ffm) With the striking campaign "Thank you for being there!", the VGF would like to thank all those whose dedication and commitment keep our social life going in these difficult weeks - no matter where they work, no matter what they do.

A special thanks goes to the employees of our own company: In the workshops, in the operations control center, in the security service or in the driver's cabs, "home office" is not possible, but nevertheless everything is done there to ensure the operation of subways and trams - and as extensively as possible and as long as possible. Because public transport is not only an indispensable part of our modern lives, it is also a piece of normality in anything but normal times.

Many people need subways and trams to reach their places of work, and quite a few of these workplaces and the activities carried out there are indispensable - for example in the care and medical sectors, in all other areas of public services, from electricity, gas and water supply to waste collection, but also in retail.

The employees, in turn, who work in various departments of the VGF, also provide the mobility that characterises our society and is at the same time essential for it, even under their own stress. With the campaign "Thank you for being there!" the company would like to publicly express its thanks, respect and esteem to them. It will be published in two steps. First digitally and via the VGF's social media channels: on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. For this, VGF has created a hashtag: #frankfurtbrauchteuch

You can find a blog post with background information about the campaign at https://blog.vgf-ffm.de/danke-dass-ihr-da-seid/

As I said: A thank you to the employees of the VGF. But colleagues in other companies and institutions should also feel addressed: "Thank you for being there!"
