A breath of fresh air is set to blow through the club scene in Hesse's largest city. Bastian Bernhagen, the managing director of the Gibson Club, is planning an exciting phase of expansion. After many years of successful collaboration, the founders, Madjid Djamegari and Bastian Bernhagen, have decided to go their separate ways professionally. The close cooperation between the two businessmen has enabled the club to continue to develop. Bernhagen is now taking over the management of the company alone and is planning further innovative steps to enrich the Frankfurt club scene in the future and offer guests an unforgettable experience. He now reveals his exciting plans for the future of the Gibson Club.
Since August 31 of this year, Madjid Djamegari has officially ceased to be a managing partner at the Gibson Club Frankfurt. The two founders successfully managed the club together for many years and have now made the joint decision to pursue different career paths. Bernhagen is ushering in an exciting new era in the history of the Gibson by taking on the role of sole managing director of the nightclub. He has already been involved in the operational management of the Gibson Club since 2018. The seamless handover ensures that continuity in the management of the establishment is guaranteed. Bernhagen has big plans: Not only is a new beach club to open, but even more of the world's most famous stars are to be welcomed to the Tab-leclub, which has been praised by travel guides. Visitors can look forward to seeing what will soon be on offer.
Club on course for expansion: search for additional outdoor location
"The Gibson has always been a place that stands for change and further development. We made this clear in 2021 at the latest when we launched our beach club on Opernplatz," explains Bernhagen. For two summers, people partied here day and night at the pop-up beach. "Being outside and partying is something that people discovered for themselves during the pandemic. In addition to the Gibson Club, we want to offer people another place where they can experience this freedom and community outdoors," adds the founder. This summer, Opernplatz became a building site as other development plans are in place. Bastian Bernhagen is now looking for a new summer location that will become a second party venue and an open living room for party-loving people. The goal is clear: an area of 1500 to 3000 square meters that will serve as a canvas for the open-air experience. "All the equipment, from the furniture to the necessary equipment, is ready, so in theory we could start immediately," confirms the new owner of the venue. The management is open to offers and is looking forward to the new adventure. The story of the Gibson continues.
Frankfurt institution as a stage for world stars and up-and-coming artists:inside Since its foundation in 2012, the Gibson has become a true institution in Frankfurt. Just one year after opening, the table club was awarded various gastronomy prizes. To this day, travel guides from all over Germany rank it among the top addresses in the club scene.
The 1100 square meter club has been redesigned again and again - the name "Gib-son" has become a brand that stands for innovation and stylish entertainment. The further development of the concept was always particularly important. The Gibson Club has not only become a place for trend-conscious partygoers, it also provides a stage for internationally renowned DJs, who have been regularly lured to Frankfurt for over a decade. Both world stars and up-and-coming artists showcase their talent here. "The special style, urbanity and musical excellence are important to us. A visit to the Gibson Club should be an unforgettable experience every time," concludes Bastian Bernhagen.
