Frankfurt's open-air gourmet market returns: after a two-year break, HFM Managementgesellschaft für Hafen und Markt will once again be able to host the popular gourmet market on the western forecourt of Kleinmarkthalle for the first time on Saturday, May 7. For many Frankfurt residents, it has always been a popular weekend meeting place that was extremely well attended, especially when the weather was nice. This was of course not possible during the pandemic, but will now finally be revived.
Economy department head Stephanie Wüst says of the new start of the Schlemmermarkt: "I am delighted that the traders of the Kleinmarkthalle will once again offer their culinary delights on one of the most beautiful squares in Frankfurt's city center."
The Schlemmermarkt will in future again be held every Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm in front of the Kleinmarkthalle.
