(kus) Once again this year, Frankfurt residents get to be a "guest in their own city", stay in the best hotels in the Main metropolis and shop extensively for Christmas presents. On Monday, October 24, from 6 p.m. the booking platform at <link http: www.frankfurt-tourismus.de _blank>
will be activated, through which rooms can be booked online.Guest in your own city - Christmas Shopping takes place this year from 9 to 11 December and is a joint promotion by Tourismus+Congress GmbH Frankfurt am Main and the Frankfurt Hotel Alliance, the association of over 50 hotels in Frankfurt and the surrounding area. The promotion offers all Frankfurt residents and residents of the Rhine-Main region the opportunity to get to know their city from a tourist's perspective.
In two categories, guests will stay in one of 25 top Frankfurt hotels for 59 or 69 euros per person in a double room during their short break. Breakfast on the day of arrival and departure as well as the use of the fitness area in the respective hotel are included. For 49 or 59 euros per person, the stay can be extended by a second night; single rooms cannot be booked. Also this year, children up to the age of twelve can stay free of charge in some hotels in their parents' room.
Also included in the price is the "Frankfurt Card" for two days, which offers participants numerous benefits, such as free use of local transport in the city area and to Frankfurt Airport or reduced admission to 28 of Frankfurt's museums.
