Yes, soon it will be that time again: the time of Christmas shopping is getting closer and closer. Most of us associate it with one thing above all: stress, hectic, long waits at the checkouts and annoyed fellow shoppers. In recent years, Tourismus+Congress GmbH Frankfurt am Main has had a great idea for a really special campaign with the FRANKFURT HOTEL ALLIANCE: why not spend the night after Christmas shopping as a guest in your own city in one of Frankfurt's 30 TOP hotels? The response was overwhelming and the allotments quickly reserved. And what goes so well, must of course be repeated.
Therefore, again this year, Frankfurt residents may stay overnight from December 6 to 8 in the best hotels of the Main metropolis and shop extensively for Christmas gifts. From Wednesday, October 30, 7 p.m., the rooms will be bookable online at http://www.frankfurt-tourismus.de. The promotion offers all Frankfurt residents and also residents of the Rhine-Main region the opportunity to rediscover their city from the perspective of a visitor. This allows a really times a completely new look at the city and offers in addition a pleasant timeout from everyday life.
The guests stay overnight during their short vacation in one of 30 Frankfurt TOP hotels (69 euros per person in a double room). Breakfast on the day of arrival and departure is included. For 59 euros per person, the stay can be extended by a second night. Important to note: Single rooms cannot be booked. On the other hand, there is good news for families with children in 2019: In some hotels, a child up to the age of twelve can stay in the parents' room free of charge. Also included in the price is a small surprise at the Christmas market and the popular "Frankfurt Card". Valid for two consecutive days, the card offers numerous perks such as free use of local transport in the city area or reduced admission to numerous Frankfurt museums.
As an added extra, there will be a small get-together at Foodtopia MyZeil on Saturday evening for all participants of the promotion.
The promotion celebrated its premiere in the summer of 2008 with 10 hotels of the luxury and first class category. In the meantime, 30 of Frankfurt's best hotels participate in the promotion and offer a total of 2600 overnight stays during the Advent season. The room booking is possible in the period between 30 October, 7 pm, and 15 November, 3 pm, exclusively via the online booking portal of Tourismus+Congress GmbH subject to availability. Based on the empirical values of recent years, it can be assumed that some contingents will be booked up very quickly.
