Relaxing after work and meeting up with colleagues for an after-work drink is totally trendy. Many professionals take the opportunity to have another ice cream or a cocktail with work colleagues, subcontractors or customers, away from the business premises in a cozy atmosphere.
In Frankfurt's shopping center MyZeil, you can now do both and all at once. "Ice cream pope" Luca Cinelli is once again setting the latest trends in the gastro scene. He mixes the usual cocktails Strawberry Margarita or Caipirinha instead of crushed ice with delicious Ice Rolls of mixed drinks and thus emphasizes the taste. Another advantage: if you have already finished your cocktail, you can still eat the delicious rolls.
The preparation of these ice rolls is spectacular and the taste experience unique! The liquid cocktail is spread on a 30-degree cold plate. Strawberries or limes are added depending on the mixed drink. With two spatulas and a lot of manual dexterity, these are chopped up, mixed with the ice cream mixture, smoothed out again and scraped into small rolls. Put the rolls into a cocktail glass, add mixed drink, fruit as well as sugar rim and the delicious Cocktail Ice Rolls creation is ready. At CINELLI´s the Cocktail Ice Rolls cost 6.50 euros. This makes sipping cocktails extra fun!
