Korean Garden open to the public again after fire

Donations for the reconstruction of the Morgentau Pavilion are welcome

(kus) After the pavilion burned down almost completely on the night of May 1. May, the Morning Dew Pavilion in the Korean Garden was almost completely burned down, the entire garden remained closed for clarification of the cause of the fire and cleanup.

The cleanup is now complete to the point where large sections of the garden can be reopened for visitors in the next few days. The areas around the two pavilions will remain closed for the time being for safety reasons.

Negotiations between the Korean Consulate and the City of Frankfurt have progressed to the point where there is agreement to rebuild the Morning Dew Pavilion. In doing so, the Parks Department, which is in charge of the reconstruction, is also financially dependent on donations. Citizens who would like to donate to the reconstruction of the Morgentau Pavilion should contact the Parks Department directly by e-mail at <link http: _blank>
