Last Week Theater of the World 2023 at the Museum Angewandte Kunst
"Incubation Pod. Dreaming worlds" through July 16
ffm. For Theater der Welt, the Museum Angewandte Kunst is transforming into an "Incubation Pod" - a kind of large, experiential dream world - through Sunday, July 16. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in interactive installations and virtual realities and take part in workshops and guided tours that encourage reflection and dreaming. The special international program brings together various forms and approaches to artistic processing, ritualization, and treatment of individual as well as shared states of incubation, times of uncertainty, and waiting.
On view at the Museum Angewandte Kunst are the works of the following artists and collectives: Trajal Harrell (Zurich, Athens), Saodat Ismailova (Tashkent,Paris) Keiken (London, Berlin), Boogaert/VanderSchoot (Amsterdam), Aya Momose (Tokyo), Meiro Koizumi (Yokohama) and El Warcha (Tunis).
In addition to ITI Academy Week at the museum, the final week of Theater of the World will include a variety of workshops and tours, and on 16. July, a closing talk and a grand auction.
