Tuesday could finally be it: after a great season, coach Rich Chernomaz's Löwen team is on top of the DEL2 table. For five games, the Lions have been battling the Bietigheim Steelers for the title. Three games of the "Best of 7" finals have already been won. Therefore, only one more win is needed! With a lot of support from the fans, the title could be clinched today in the Eissporthalle Frankfurt. But if the Bietigheim Steelers win the third game in a row - which we don't hope of course - then it will go into the all-decisive round on Friday with a tie.
But it may not even come to that. If the skates are racing across the ice tonight and the right goal is hit as many times as possible, then there will be a real reason to celebrate! In any case, we keep our fingers crossed for the whole team from 19:30 and say thank you for a great season!!!
