Necessity is the mother of invention. After the restaurant Magarete also had to close due to regulations to contain the corona virus, Raffaela Schöbel and Simon Horn and their Margarete team came up with something special: together with ENA OFFICE, a young Frankfurt-based digital consultancy, MARGARETE ZUHAUSE was launched. The idea behind the culinary project is quite simple: If the guests cannot come to the Margarete, the Margarete simply comes to their home - no matter whether for a dinner with the family, for a romantic dinner or for a tasty lunch for the home office.
In a very short time, Lisa Eiserloh and Eray Aydin, the founders of ENA OFFICE, not only worked out the idea of meal boxes. The restaurant also had to be retooled, new hygiene plans had to be worked out and tested, the team structure had to be completely reorganized and the logistics for the delivery of the boxes had to be set up. As a result, Magarete has transformed from a restaurant, a social gathering place, into a production-only operation that brings indulgence to its guests' homes.
