Market Special Gifting at the Museum Angewandte Kunst

On the four Advent weekends, each from Friday to Sunday, at the Museum Angewandte Kunst

25.-27 November, 2-4 December, 9-11 December, 16-18 December

In the run-up to Christmas, the Museum Angewandte Kunst is dedicated to special and thoughtful giving. Alongside design and sustainability, the focus is on gestures of mutual appreciation.

For the third time, the foyer of the museum will be transformed into a colorful marketplace where local vendors, small producers and manufactures will offer their goods for sale. At the heart of this market are beautiful and handmade products, careful workmanship and original design ideas. From noble objects made of wood, porcelain and paper to light design, unique jewellery and culinary delicacies, you will find exceptional gift ideas here. A small Café with sweet treats provides for a pre-Christmas mood next to it.

The market opens its doors on Advent weekends, Fridays to Sundays, from 10 am to 6 pm.

Admission is free for all visitors.

Höchst Schön - Letterpress

In the Höchster Druckwerkstatt, work is done with historical technology as it was 500 years ago in Gutenberg's time. Prints up to DIN A2 size are produced individually by hand, without electricity, using only muscle power. Product design such as bags, lanyards and colorful notepads complete the offer.

Puppenwerk

The playmates of Sabine Gogolin are unique. Everything is made only once, whether doll or piece of clothing. That is why she uses only Swiss cotton jersey and the finest sheep and alpaca wool for her dolls.

Freshly published this year is the anniversary volume of grassgreen with all 51 jewelry series.

NONEON - that's what product designer Fabian Thiele calls his illuminated and neon letters collected over many years.
