Marlon Roudette is the top act at LOVEBALL-FRANKFURT 2017

On 02 October 2017, the 2. LOVEBALL-FRANKFURT, Frankfurt's most colourful charity walking party will take place at the glamorous Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten.

After months of suspense, the secret has finally been revealed as to who will put guests in the mood to party this year and be the top act of 2017. The Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten is pleased to announce that 80s icon Kim Wilde will be joined on stage by artist extraordinaire Marlon Roudette.

Marlon Roudette returns this summer with his red hot single "Ultra Love". The Londoner with Caribbean roots has one thing above all else: a knack for great songs. With his No.1 smashers "New Age" and "When The Beat Drops Out" Marlon Roudette was able to break all records, but also the respective follow-up singles "Anti Hero" or "Everybody' Feeling Something" were absolute chart hits. His music is a mixture of pop and reggae.

In 2003, he co-founded the duo Mattafix, which had its biggest hit with the debut single "Big City Life" in 2005. Marlon Roudette has been releasing as a solo artist since 2011.

In August 2011, the song "New Age" from the film ‚What a Man' by and starring Matthias Schweighöfer was released. It reached number 1 in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The accompanying album 'Matter Fixed' also reached high chart positions. It was followed by the single 'Anti Hero (Brave New World)' and 'Hold on Me'. In 2014, the album "Electric Soul"' was released. The first single from it, "When the Beat Drops Out", went straight to number one on the Media Control charts.

Now follows another summer anthem: "Ultra Love" is an absolute dance cracker, and Marlon's obligatory steel pan spreads holiday mood and party feeling. Just the right thing for LOVEBALL-FRANKFURT and its colourful audience.

About the LOVEBALL-FRANKFURT

This year marks the second time that the LOVEBALL-FRANKFURT has taken place. All net proceeds will be donated in aid of AIDS-Hilfe Frankfurt, because even 32 years after its founding, AIDS-Hilfe Frankfurt's work is far from done. There is still ignorance in society about the deadly viral infection and time does not lessen the challenge, nor the financial burdens.

Celebrations will be held on 02 October 2017 in the historic ballroom of the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten from 19.00. A colorful ball with international and national artists and guests. The LOVEBALL-Frankfurt not only offers top-class artists and a coherent entertainment programme, the gastronomic offer also promises culinary highlights. Under the direction of 2-star chef and Gault&Millau award-winning "Chef of the Year 2017", Andreas Krolik and Steffen Haase, head chef at the Gesellschaftshaus, guests can expect great creations. The food offer is accompanied by a variety of matching drinks and corresponding wines.
