New Racetrack: The SportScheck RUN Frankfurt with even more variety

On October 6, the SportScheck RUN in Frankfurt will take on a new track.

Zeil and Bankenviertel know the previous participants already from the previous RUNs through Frankfurt. But now the 2.5 kilometer long Racetrack leads even further through the city center and thus offers pure variety. "Mainhattan" presents itself from its most beautiful sides for the SportScheck RUN. The start and finish area has also moved: from Stephanstraße to Roßmarkt. Here are now also lounge corners ready for the victory celebration.

Start times for the SportScheck RUN Frankfurt

10:30 a.m.: 10 km RUN (4 x 2.5 km circuit)

12:15 p.m.: 5 km RUN (2 x 2.5 km circuit)

13:3:00 p.m.: 600 m DAK Bambini RUN (section of 2.5-km course)

1:45 p.m.: 1.2 km DAK Kids RUN (section of 2.5-km course)

Who will be crowned city champion this year?

The route over ten kilometers is a very special challenge. Because the winner gets a cup and the title "City Champion of Frankfurt" awarded. Last year, Karl Hempel (33:17 minutes) and Anna Herzberg (36:47 minutes) took the coveted title. But the other finishers will not go empty-handed either. At the end of the light tunnel, cheering fans, a medal, a selfie in front of the Wall of Fame and plenty of food and drink await them:

Organic bananas from Uurú

Protein bar from Nature Valley

Alcohol-free wheat beer from Erdinger

Isotonic sports drink from AA Drink

Personalized running shirt instead of race number

With the dark blue functional shirt from Under Armour, participants automatically get access to the free food. The T-shirt also counts as a starting permit and can still be printed with names or time at the print kiosk. At the Roßmarkt, presenter Claudio Großner and a DJ will heat up the atmosphere. The rousing songs are already available as a Spotify playlist for training: "SportScheck RUN 2019". On the course, GARMIN pacemakers will ensure the necessary stamina and personal best times. At the Hauptwache, friends and family will gather to additionally cheer on the athletes.

From the shopping mile through "Mainhattan"

The junior runners stay close to the banking district, while the adults discover many more exciting corners of Frankfurt on their 2.5km circuit.

About the running series

The success story of the SportScheck runs in Munich began back in 1979. 40 years later, the mother of all running series counts 17 stations across Germany, more than 80,000 participants, thousands of spectators on the sidelines and it is impossible to imagine a running calendar without it.
