New roadway for the Isenburger Schneise

27.07.2018 | 08:23 Clock | Service
New roadway for the Isenburger Schneise

(ffm) The Isenburger Schneise is the road connecting Frankfurt am Main and Neu-Isenburg. Every day, many commuters drive along here. On weekends, Eintracht regularly attracts football fans from near and far to the stadium.

So the road has had to endure a lot in the past. Therefore, the Office of Road Construction and Development (ASE) will renew the crumbling roadway. 100 meters of the Isenburger Schneise in the section between Darmstädter Landstraße and the city limits will get a new surface.

Traffic impact

Because of a surface renewal by the ASE, the Isenburger Schneise at the height of the P+R parking lot will be a one-way street in the direction of Neu-Isenburg from Monday, July 30, to Friday, August 3. Traffic in the direction of Oberforsthaus will be diverted via Darmstädter Landstraße, Friedensallee and Hugenottenallee. Access to the P+R car park will be guaranteed at all times. Pedestrians and cyclists can pass the construction site.

In the course of this construction site, the short section of Hugenottenallee between the A3 and Isenburger Schneise will also receive a new roadway.

During the second construction measure, Hugenottenallee can only be used in the direction of Neu-Isenburg. The detour in the direction of Frankfurt is via Friedensallee and Darmstädter Landstraße.

Pedestrians and cyclists can pass the construction site. Further up-to-date traffic information can be found on the Internet at: <link http: www.mainziel.de _blank>
