Over the past two years, the YARD has been primarily a gathering place for epicures. But numerous special events, parties and markets have also been held on this beautifully landscaped grounds. Now a very special event is coming to this location: the OBI MachBar will make a stop in Frankfurt on its tour from 20 September to 06 October 2019 and will transform the YARD site into a large creative workshop, which will be open daily from 11:00 - 20:00 (last material handover 19:30). OBI invites all Frankfurt residents to give free rein to their creativity. For this purpose, all DIY enthusiasts big and small - or those who still want to become one - will be offered a varied programme of DIY workshops and creative games. All this in a relaxed atmosphere and in a good mood.
There are various stations where you can try out your creativity. Whether it's a lamp in a modern Scandi look or individual memo boards - there are no limits to your creative imagination. And the best thing is: you can of course take your finished works of art home with you. So a visit to the OBI MachBar also makes for a lasting memory. The same goes for children, who can create their first self-made wooden boat or a greeting card for their grandparents.
You can exchange ideas with friends or other visitors, give each other tips, discover the fun of trying things out and simply enjoy the time. OBI's team of experts will also be on hand to help you, whether inspiration, support or a helping hand is needed. The matching tools from Bosch Home & Garden are of course also at your disposal.
But the OBI MachBar has another highlight in store: Together OBI and Bosch Home & Garden offer you the "Beaver Escape Game - powered by Bosch". It is probably the first Escape Game in which the participants only find the safe with the help of tools and the right DIY skills. A game that promotes creativity and at the same time offers a lot of excitement and fun.
