Only a few places left on the climate walk

Register now for the climate protection walk with Rosemarie Heilig through the city centre

(ffm) Head of the Department of the Environment Rosemarie Heilig will walk to places of climate protection in Frankfurt's city centre on Sunday, 22 July, starting at 3 pm. By 2050, the city wants to be completely powered by renewable energies. Feyza Morgül from Opera Civil has developed a 90-minute tour together with the energy department. The political scientist takes the 25 or so participants to places in the city centre where climate protection is practised, explains the background and passes on her knowledge of sustainability. The topics include drinking water fountains, solar power filling stations, beehives on high-rise buildings and regional food. The topic of mobility will also be highlighted - with a little surprise in the Bockenheimer Anlage. The walk lasts until about 4.30 pm.

The climate protection walk takes place as part of the event series "The Wild Sunday", participation is free. There are only a few places left! Registration is required by emailing <link>energiereferat@stadt-frankfurt.de

Participants will be told the meeting point for the tour when they register.
