Only female concierge in the Rhine-Main area receives Golden Key

Kirsti Schäfer (28) can be pleased about a special award: as the only female concierge in the Rhine-Main area, she was presented with the Golden Keys by the international association Les Clefs d'Or at the Kempisnki Hotel Frankfurt. There is a good reason for this honour, because Schäfer knows her trade as a concierge perfectly. Extreme discretion, the fulfilment of even unusual guest requests, the best knowledge of the city in which they work - these are the demanding as well as versatile tasks that she performs with passion and utmost professionalism.

"The crossed keys are more than just a coveted sign of membership in our association, they are above all a symbol of guaranteed outstanding service," explains Michele Schinella, Head Concierge at the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt, who has already been a member of the association for several years.

With Kirsti Schäfer, all three Concierges at the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt now have the Golden Keys on the lapel of their uniform. "The concierge profession is still mainly a male domain, so I am all the more pleased that with Ms Schäfer we have the first female concierge in the region with this award," says hotel director Karina Ansos. Kirsti Schäfer has been working at the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt for two years. She is a trained hotel manager, gained international experience on cruise ships and joined the five-star hotel just outside Frankfurt as a junior concierge in 2017. "I love solving problems and thus fulfilling wishes," she notes. "In a hotel like this, you meet all kinds of cultures, every guest is different, and I really enjoy engaging with each personality."
