Open Air Concert in the Bahnhofsviertel

The Street Gallery gets sound

TAB invites you to a special open-air concert: a stage in the middle of Taunusstraße and uniquely artistically designed lanterns that put the street in a new and striking light. On September 9 at 6 p.m., City Councillor Markus Frank will open the festival, which was conceived and implemented with a great deal of commitment and in a partnership between several players. "Today we are launching a project that creative people, restaurateurs and artists with great ideas and a lot of love for the Bahnhofsviertel. It is already a very big and unprecedented story for our city of Frankfurt am Main" enthuses the Head of the Department of Economic Affairs, who will switch on the lanterns and set the scene on Taunusstrasse at nightfall together with his fellow patron, musician Daniel Wirtz. "I am very excited to see how my home base looks in its artistic garb, and it is very welcome if the Taunusstraße now gets as many visitors as possible from art and music-loving people" the Frankfurt musician is pleased.

The concert starts shortly after 6 pm with guests from Hamburg: A few weeks before the comeback album of his legendary German rap crew Fünf Sterne Deluxe is released, Das Bo (in photo r.) comes with Dj Plazebo (l.) to Frankfurt am Main - on the TAB stage designed in a special look.

From 7pm, Frankfurt disco partisan Shantel will get guests dancing on the street with his DJ session under the motto "Shantology // 30 Years of Club Guerilla". Shantel stands for lived migration, he loves it exciting and remains good for surprises.

After him WIRTZ take over the stage and celebrate a real home game with frontman Daniel Wirtz. On Taunusstraße WIRTZ play the current set one last time before going on tour with new material next year. The goal for this Saturday is clear: TAB rocks!

Along for the ride is Viva con Agua de St. Pauli e.V., a network of people and organizations working for humane access to clean drinking water worldwide. Friendly young ladies and gentlemen from the non-profit organization collect the drinking cups in exchange for a deposit - from which, for example, the station's quarter beer YokYok is also served. Half of the proceeds will go to the drinking water project, the other half will remain in the Bahnhofsviertel and will be put to good use: The international children's house in Wiesenhüttenstraße was broken into, toys and equipment stolen and the facility badly damaged. The damage amounts to several thousand Euros - further sponsors and donors are most welcome! The donation account set up for this purpose is: Frankfurter Volksbank IBAN DE5550190000340048660

At all, the entire neighborhood gets a nice stage to shine in a hospitable atmosphere culinary in the context of the admission-free event.
