(kus) The reconstruction of Frankfurt's Old Town is approaching the home stretch: Almost all of the 15 reconstructions and 20 new buildings in the heart of the Main metropolis have their shells completed, many roofs are already covered, and interior work is underway. In order to give guests and citizens an impression of the current construction progress, the historic Coronation Walk between the cathedral and Römerberg will be open to the public for the first time on Saturday, 15 October. One highlight: Lord Mayor Peter Feldmann himself will be taking some of the guided tours along this route, which is so significant for Frankfurt's city history.
Guided tours along the historic Coronation Path will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm. Interested parties are asked to register in advance by emailing <link>kontakt@domroemer.de . The entrance is at the "Goldener Waage", west side of the cathedral
