Ostwind 3 celebrates Hesse premiere in Frankfurt

On July 27, the time has finally come: Then the third part of the "Ostwind" series, which is so popular with girls, will start in the cinema. Ostwind - Aufbruch nach Ora" was also filmed in Hesse, more precisely in the Kassel area. And that's why, as with its predecessors, there was a somewhat smaller premiere in Hesse in addition to the big German premiere. On Monday, leading actress Hanna Binke and her co-stars Lea van Acken and Nicolette Krebitz as well as director Katja von Garnier came to Frankfurt to celebrate the premiere of their film at the E-Kinos.

A lot of fans had gathered at the Hauptwache to be able to be very close to their stars for once. And so the actresses were also welcomed with big cheers. After walking the red carpet and lots of selfies and autographs later, the film was shown to an enthusiastic audience.

In part 3 of the series, Mika (Hanna Binke) now lives on Gut Kaltenbach with her grandma (Cornelia Froboess) and her beloved horse Ostwind. In order to continue to secure the existence of the farm, which she had saved with her very special skills, Mika has to use her skills as a "horse whisperer" to help stressed horse owners. However, this task just doesn't challenge the girl. She's bored and miserable. And Ostwind seems to be no different. When she keeps seeing a mysterious symbol in her dreams, Mika sets out to find clues. This leads her to Andalusia in the south of Spain. Here there is supposed to be the legendary place Ora, where there are still real wild horses - around the source of Ora. There seems to be a connection between Ostwind and Ora. And that's why Mika sets off to Spain to find this mysterious place.

The adventure that Mika then experiences in Andalusia is perfectly tailored to the fans. And so the many young female viewers were also enthusiastic about this sometimes exciting, sometimes funny and in the end even a little bit sad horse movie. The fact that the leading actress and her co-stars were there themselves naturally made the whole thing a very special experience for the fans. And for Frankfurt there was finally a touch of glamour at a beautiful film premiere. More of that with pleasure!
