According to the new federal testing regulation, every citizen has been entitled to at least one free rapid coronavirus test per week since March. Implementing this offer is still proving quite difficult. But at least there is now another step in the right direction: the state of Hesse has published an online list of all registered testing facilities. This list is updated regularly.
"After the federal government published its new testing regulation, the Hesse Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration immediately forwarded a sample general ruling and further information on commissioning testing centres in the state to the health authorities, as discussed last week. It is extremely gratifying to see how intensively cities, districts, doctors, dentists and pharmacists are working together with the state to open additional testing centres very quickly," said Health Minister Klose.
"As announced, we have now posted an overview of the contact points for free rapid coronavirus tests for citizens in Hesse that have been reported to us so far on our website. Of course, the list is continuously updated, with new locations being added every day," reports the Minister.
