Palmengarten finally opens its show houses and boat rental

Palmengarten finally opens its show houses and boat rental

A visit to the Palmengarten has been possible again for several weeks. But now it will be even more relaxed and worthwhile due to further relaxations: from now on the show houses are open again and you can stroll through the Palm House, Tropicarium and Subantarctic House. Simply beautiful! Of course, the usual distance rules apply and you have to move through the houses on a designated one-way system. On the entire grounds of the garden as well as in the houses, you must wear a medical mask and keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters.

The ticket office at Siesmayerstraße 63 will also be available again as an entrance to the Palmengarten, in addition to the ticket office on Palmengartenstraße. Exit is as usual via the numerous turnstiles.

The time slots for visiting the Palmengarten remain: 9 am to 2 pm and 2.30 pm to 7 pm; 1000 guests can be admitted per time slot. Appointments will be made directly at the ticket office. Also remaining is that guests must still fill out the contact tracking form. This can also be downloaded in advance at http://www.palmengarten.de.

And there's one more piece of good news: the boat rental at the big pond is also open again.

"We are very happy to be able to reopen our show houses after a very long break," says Palmengarten director Katja Heubach. "In addition, we are optimistic about the current incidence in Frankfurt: if the numbers for the city are 14 days below 100 on Monday, June 7, then, according to the Hessian state ordinance, contact tracking and appointment scheduling will also be dropped. This will be a great relief for our guests and also for us."
