PINK brings the Commerzbank Arena to a boil

In midsummery 30 degrees, 40,000 enthusiastic fans celebrated US superstar P!NK yesterday (Monday). The singer, who is on world tour with her now eighth studio album "Hurts 2B Human", brought a real mega show to the Commerzbank Arena. The fans didn't let the heat take away their good mood and already sang the songs in the crowded S-Bahn, which P!NK later performed on stage in a spectacular way. The singer, who is known for her breathtaking stage shows, did not disappoint in Frankfurt. With acrobatic interludes and her voice, which is also extremely strong live, P!NK performed a total of 23 songs - from classics to songs from her new album.

In addition to the songs, the costumes and the show, P!NK also delighted the audience again and again with a lot of humour and a closeness to her fans, which makes her so approachable and likeable despite her superstar status. P!NK already showed such a closeness to her fans the day before her concert. There she mingled with the guests of POPCORE, the official CSD Closing Party at the Yacht Club. Airs and graces? Not a trace! Instead, plenty of charm and a good-humored P!NK, who also took time for a short statement.

Whether at Frankfurt's Christopher Street Day or in front of 40,000 fans in the Commerzbank Arena - P!NK proved during her visit to the Main metropolis that she is one of the most popular pop stars in the business for a reason. It was actually summed up best by a Variety Magazine reporter who said, "I can say without any exaggeration that in all the decades I've been going to and covering concerts, P!NK is physically the most 'holy f---ing s---' artist I've ever seen as a pop act."

Many of the fans who were at Commerzbank Arena last night found very similar words after the concert, or summed up their emotions with succinct "Awesome," "Just awesome," or "What a killer show from a killer woman." We can only agree with that and hope that P!NK will pay Frankfurt another visit soon.
