From Saturday, August 28, it's back on the ice! With the end of the summer break, the Eissporthalle Frankfurt opens its doors again for all those who like to flit across the ice with their skates. The professionals of the ice hockey team "Löwen" have already started their training in the hall and also the numerous ice skating clubs are returning to their domicile. And on Saturday, public ice skating finally begins again.
"The Frankfurt Ice Sports Hall is one of the most important sports facilities in the entire Rhine-Main region," emphasizes Markus Frank, head of the sports department. "Whether amateur ice skaters, clubs or fans of ice hockey at the professional level - it has an attractive offer for everyone."
Naturally, a visit to the ice sports hall is also associated with certain Corona regulations. For example, admission to the rink is only possible with valid proof in terms of the 3G rule (vaccinated, recovered, tested negative).
