The legendary Rock am Ring celebrates a big anniversary in 2025: For the 40th time, the Nürburgring will be the meeting place for music fans from all over the world from June 6 to 8. Just 90 minutes from Frankfurt, the festival invites you to an unforgettable weekend full of music, camping and surprises.
The third wave of bands has just been announced: Previous headliners Slipknot and Bring Me the Horizon are now joined by KoRn, Weezer, Bullet for My Valentine and many more high-caliber acts. With a total of 70 out of 100 acts, including The Prodigy, Rise Against and Heaven Shall Burn, the line-up is almost complete. A total of four stages will be played, and fans can look forward to an exclusive European show by Bring Me the Horizon.
Record advance sales for the anniversary edition
Advance sales are going at a rapid pace: over 80.000 tickets for Rock am Ring and more than 60,000 for the twin festival Rock im Park in Nuremberg are already sold out. Weekend tickets are currently still available for 239 euros.
Exclusive guests and special anniversary surprises
Visitors can look forward to two "Very Special Anniversary Guests" at the festival opening on Friday - although their identities are still being kept secret. With further surprises and the impressive history of Rock am Ring, the anniversary edition promises to be a highlight of the 2025 festival season.
Camping, shuttle and cashless payment: what visitors can expect
In addition to a large selection of camping options, from classic camping to luxurious container accommodation, there are also practical alternatives to traveling by car. City shuttle buses run regularly from Frankfurt, Cologne and Koblenz directly to the festival site. Tickets can be purchased online in advance.
Cashless payment has been in place at the festival site since 2022. Visitors will receive a wristband with a chip that acts as an electronic wallet. Catering will be provided by the Lidl Rock Store and numerous food and drink stands.
If you want to be part of the big birthday party, you'd better be quick - tickets are running out! And with its proximity to Frankfurt, Rock am Ring 2025 is also ideal for a spontaneous trip.
