Same three major demonstrations on Saturday in Frankfurt - tram and bus heavily restricted

S-Bahn and U-Bahn are expected to run normally

People in Frankfurt are expected to take to the streets on Saturday for no less than three major demonstrations. As many as 50,000 participants are expected to take part. And of course, this will also lead to severe traffic restrictions. This will not only affect motorists, but also numerous tram and bus lines.

The municipal public transport company traffiQ recommends that passengers switch to suburban trains and underground trains. They are expected to be able to travel unimpeded.

A rough overview shows that no tram or bus lines will run between Gallus, Bockenheim, Nordend, Ostend and the Main from around 9am to 8pm, with disruptions in the west of the city expected to be lifted by around 4pm. The seven tram lines 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, 18 and 21, the nine bus lines 30, 32, 34, 36, 46, 50, 52, 64 and 75, as well as the Ebbelwei-Express, will run on a limited basis or be suspended altogether.

Passengers who rely on buses and trains on Saturday should call the RMV service telephone 069/24248024 for information before travelling. The timetable information on the Internet can not help this time due to the short notice and the unpredictability of the interruptions.
