That's the sound, or something like it, when on October 31 -- Halloween Day -- children dress up like witches, wizards or monsters, ring strangers' doorbells and beg for candy. The trend, which originated in the United States, is also getting more and more attention in Germany. Luca Cinelli, creative ice cream maker from Frankfurt, is offering his new scary cup "Scary Rolls" for this occasion from now until Halloween. Not only the palate tickling and the black ice cream make the ice cream creation so innovative.
In particular, the spectacular staging is worth seeing! On a 30-degree cold plate, liquid vanilla ice cream, dark red sour cherry compote and black Oreo cookies are chopped, blended, smoothed and scraped into delicate black rolls at lightning speed with two spatulas and a lot of craftsmanship. Topping is a pumpkin-colored cream topping with a blood-red strawberry sauce. Add spiders or monster gummy bears to make the scary rolls look spooky and sinister. Ice-cold, crispy but temptingly delicious, the Halloween cup tastes great.
