September 9 marks the end of the outdoor pool season at some pools

In the outdoor pools Brentanobad, Stadionbad and Nieder-Eschbach the summer comes to an end

There is still a small heat wave announced for the next week with temperatures that scratch the 30 degrees. But with cooling off in the refreshing wet is in many outdoor pools already from Sunday over for this year. The reason: the temperatures fall at night mostly below 15°C, so that the water temperatures in the unheated Frankfurt outdoor pools permanently dropped below 20 degrees and the visitors there stay away.

For the BäderBetriebe Frankfurt, this is the decisive reason to end the summer season in Frankfurt's first outdoor pools. The last bathing day at the Brentano, Stadion and Nieder-Eschbach open-air pools will take place on Sunday, September 9.

The Eschersheim outdoor pool will remain open up to and including September 16, while the Riedbad in Bergen-Enkheim will remain open up to and including September 18.

From then on, outdoor pool lovers can only swim their laps in the heated outdoor pools in Hausen as well as in the Silobad. The summer season will then finally end at the Silobad on September 23 and at the Hausen outdoor pool on October 7.
