What do a Nuremberg family with two boys and a parrot, a Puma employee from LA and a Siemens freelancer in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern have in common? They all can't live or work at home at the moment and have been looking for a suitable alternative. They found one in the serviced apartments of Living Hotels. Despite Covid-19, these have opened one house each in Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Nuremberg and Vienna (and are also quite well occupied), because the apartments are just now becoming a real living on time-home and residential office for a very colorful mix of guests who otherwise would not quite know where to go now.

In Frankfurt it is the Living Hotel Apartments Johann Wolfgang, which can be occupied from a minimum stay of 3 months. Ideal, for example, for doctors, nurses and caregivers who have changed their clinic location or who would simply have it too far to home to be able to enjoy the necessary time out before the next shift. Business guests who cannot return to their countries are also well catered for here.

For those who cannot work adequately at home, serviced apartments offer a great opportunity to set up a temporary home office. Because the apartment-in-a-hotel approach can serve as a smart and, above all, safe alternative accommodation for guests and homeworkers alike thanks to its per se focus on business travellers and its "almost like home" equipment including kitchen, balcony and high-speed wifi.

"I am 100 percent satisfied here. The hotel makes possible what is possible for us," says Medina H. from Munich, who moved with her family into a serviced apartment in the Bavarian capital. "We moved to China with the family for professional reasons a year ago, now live in Beijing and feel very comfortable there. When, due to Covid-19, the exit restrictions and controls became stricter and stricter and any person who has a fever above 37.3 degrees is reported to the government, for example, I made a conscious decision at the end of February to come to Munich with our 3-year-old son Luis, because we have much more freedom of movement here and the time for Luis is simply more carefree," said Medina H., who has since been living in a serviced apartment at the Living Hotel am Olympiapark for the first time and will also stay here until the end of May for the time being. "Regardless of the fact that we would of course like to go home again, I am really happy as punch that we have found such a good stay solution for us here so quickly and uncomplicatedly, in which we feel safe, welcome and comfortable, not least because of the so dedicated hotel team, which makes everything possible for us from the beginning, and which is above all also fairly priced and feasible for us."

The hotel's director, Janet Stache adds "We are a very colourful "residential community" at the moment and are getting several enquiries and bookings every day, even through to the end of the year. Especially also because we can ensure self-catering through the generous apartment layout with its own kitchen and of course we take all possible protective and hygienic measures for our guests as well as employees, that we can live together but with distance under one roof." Of course, this also applies to the serviced apartments in Frankfurt.

These are located in Sachsenhausen and offer peace and quiet on the one hand, but are also very conveniently located for transport. Of course, all precautions have also been taken here to protect guests and employees alike. Which regulations currently apply, you can find out HERE. And if a stay at the Living Hotel Appartements Johann Wolfgang is an attractive "Wohnen auf Zeit-Zuhause" and live-at-home alternative for you, you can find all further info HERE.
