Spectacular water spectacles on hotel's own lake at Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt

Spectacular water spectacles on hotel's own lake at Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt

A new highlight awaits guests of the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt from now on: as one of the few hotels in Germany, a water, light and sound spectacle at the hotel's own lake will ensure shining eyes and many "Oooohs" and "Aaahs". Every evening, more than 100 individual fountains dance on the water, choreographed to various pop songs, impressively illuminated by 145 coloured spotlights. The fountains reach heights of almost 30 metres.

"Of course, we can't compete with the role models in Dubai or Las Vegas, but the goosebump factor is also very high here," promises hotel director Karina Ansos. "We deliberately wanted an attraction on our lake and therefore decided on water games. I am very happy that we can offer such a unique show to our hotel guests and external visitors," she adds. The hotel's own lake is approximately 14,000 square metres in size and is one of the Nutur highlights on the 15-acre property.

By the way, visitors get a prime view from the lakeside terrace of the Levante restaurant. "The combination of Arabic specialties and water features makes for a very special summer feeling," says Karina Ansos. Also easy to see are the water games from the terrace of the K-Lounge and the Lake Side Lounge in the Country Club & Spa Frankfurt. Guests can look forward to four shows every evening from around 6:30pm. Each water show is five minutes long and is accompanied by well-known hits of international music greats from pop and classical music, including Whitney Houston, Shakira and Carl Orff.

Visitors can marvel at the colorful water spectacle until September and then not again until spring 2019. To give summer an extra twist, the hotel will host a summer lounge party in the K Lounge starting June 21, themed "Pop meets Fountains." Guests can watch the fountains while sipping a refreshing cocktail and listening to lounge music by DJ Stefan Kreuzer. Kreuzer was resident DJ at the Silk restaurant of the legendary Cocoon Club in Frankfurt from its opening until its closing. At the K-Lounge, he will be spinning every Thursday from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. starting June 21, in good weather on the K-Lounge's summer terrace, in bad weather in the K-Lounge itself. Admission is free.

Table reservations for the K-Lounge can be made by calling 069 389 88 676 or emailing <link>K-lounge.frankfurt@kempinski.com .
