Brooms out, garbage bags on! On Friday (16.03.) there will be a big spring cleaning in the Bahnhofsviertel! Initiated by the Regionalrat Bahnhofsviertel together with CleanFFM and the association Wiesenhüttenplatz the quarter shall be freed from garbage - and everybody can join in! The official starting signal is at 11 am. Meeting point is at Wiesenhüttenplatz for all who want to join in.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., participants will clean different places in the neighborhood, thus actively contributing to the issue of cleanliness and trash. All you need to bring is a good mood and commitment; you will be provided with the necessary materials at the Wiesenhüttenplatz, where you will also receive a button. Exciting entertainment and activities await those involved between 11.30am and 1.30pm.
City councillor Markus Frank is supporting the action and will be coming to the event at Wiesenhüttenplatz at around 1pm. After the work is done, the helpers can strengthen themselves with a small snack. If it rains, the action will take place in the nearby family center. Yes, we sweep! will end around 2 p.m.
