In the beautiful Bethmannpark there will be a lot of construction work in the next few months. The measures concern the Orangerie and its outdoor facilities. In August, the Parks Department will begin demolishing the dilapidated additions and parts of the walls. The orangery will then be rebuilt in accordance with the requirements of the preservation order. The Orangery's exterior will also be redesigned.
The construction work is expected to be completed by the end of 2019, then the Orangerie will shine in old-new splendor.
