Stoffel 2019 - The Günthersburgpark becomes the most beautiful open air pub in town

It's summer again and with it one of the most beautiful open air events comes back to town: For the 16th time the Stalburg Theater celebrates summer with their audience in a very special way. For the 16th time, the Stalburg Theater celebrates the summer in a very special way with their audience: in the beautiful ambience of the Günthersburg Park, the Stalburg Theater Offen Luft, stoffel for short, is celebrated. Once again this year there will be plenty of music, cabaret and children's theatre - with free admission. Support through a voluntary donation is not mandatory, but is of course very welcome - and is absolutely appropriate in view of the many efforts that all participants put into the implementation.

For a free outdoor festival to put on the legs, is neither easy, nor a pleasure. In past years, for example, organizers have had to deal with complaints from residents that could well have meant the end of the festival. But since stoffel is supposed to be about making people happy and entertained and not about annoying them - no matter if only one resident or several really feel disturbed - a compromise was sought by which the festival can continue without too much loss of revenue. The solution is called: again in 2019, the plug will be pulled on some days. Then there will be either no music at all, a silent disco or choir singing without amplifiers.

But even on the days when the stage remains empty, the festival is a nice meeting place. Drinks and small snacks will therefore be served even when the plug is pulled. Otherwise, visitors can once again expect a diverse music and cabaret program from June 20 to July 13. Artists such as the Ann Doka & Band, FEE. & Band, Finn & Jonas or The Dead Lovers will provide a pleasant sound carpet on the festival grounds. In addition, there will be cabaret by Johannes Scherer or Severin Groebner, a reading with Stalburg veteran Michi Herl, and on some days the stoffelchen children's program with children's songwriter FERRI or La Compagnie Pirkko.

The atmosphere at stoffel is simply wonderful. Whether on the numerous beer benches or on picnic blankets brought along on the spacious lawn, here you can perfectly relax and enjoy a selected cultural program - such as the legendary organic sausages, beer, wine, cider and other drinks - and all this with free admission! When the Günthersburgpark is transformed into Frankfurt's most popular open-air pub for a few weeks, it attracts visitors not only from the neighbourhood. Up to 40,000 visitors a year speak a clear language.
