Subways interrupted again due to fire protection work

Until July, there will be construction at the Dom/Römer station, which is why it will not be served by the U4 and U5 until then. While the trains usually run the entire route anyway, every now and then it will be completely interrupted for a few days. The next time this will be the case is from Monday, 12 March, up to and including Thursday, 15 March. Then the trains will not run between Konstablerwache, Hauptbahnhof and Bockenheimer Warte. At Konstablerwache, the U5 line in the direction of Preungesheim will depart from the U5 platform in the direction of Hauptbahnhof.

In addition to the S-Bahns, tram line 12 is also available as an alternative between Konstablerwache and Hauptbahnhof. From Konstablerwache via Hauptwache to Bockenheimer Warte, subway lines U6 and U7 are on the way. Between Hauptbahnhof and Bockenheimer Warte, trams of lines 16 and 17 are also running.

To get on lines U4 and U5, from Friday, 16 March, it is again possible to take trams 11 and 12 from the Römer/Paulskirche stop to Willy-Brandt-Platz (to be reached by lines 11 and 12) and to Konstablerwache (to be reached by line 12).

The municipal public transport company traffiQ and the VGF recommend their passengers to inform themselves before starting their journey. The timetable information on the Internet <link http: www.rmv-frankfurt.de _blank>Http://www.rmv-frankfurt.de knows the fastest connection. The RMV service telephone number 069/24248024, which is available around the clock, also provides information about the best travel option
