Support your local artist - ATELIERFRANKFURT (AF) opens online shop

It is not only gastronomy, cultural businesses and retail that need support in these difficult times. Artists are also suffering from restrictions and lockdowns. Therefore, Support your local artist in times of lockdown! The AF-SHOP, an online shop opened by the Kunstzentrum ATELIERFRANKFURT (AF) at Frankfurt's Osthafen, is intended to help. Here, works by over 220 artists and creative people from the 140 studios of Hesse's largest studio house are offered for sale. And the money ends up where it belongs: 100% of the proceeds go to the artists and creatives. The AF does not charge a commission.

Whoever buys a work in the AF-SHOP, directly supports the artists and creatives of our city in these difficult times of the Corona pandemic. Browsing in the shop is worthwhile, because there is something for every taste. Because in the works offered in the AF-SHOP shows the interdisciplinary diversity of the art center: whether photography, painting, fashion or design - in the AF-SHOP everyone finds something - and with prices between 20 and 2.500 € there is something here for the small purse, as well as for buyers*in which a higher budget is available.

In a 6-week rotation, 12 works are offered at a time. On request, more expensive works (from 500 <x>ampersand</x>euro;) can be viewed in advance (in compliance with all hygiene and distance rules) at the AF at Frankfurt's Osthafen.

The first rotation with works by Bea Emsbach, Natalie Goller, Nathalie Grenzhäuser, Annabelle Klute, Dieter Mammel, Corinna Mayer, Sarmite Polakova, Julia Roppel, Katrin Trost, Ning Yang, Guido Zimmermann and 30 x 40 will be online from Monday, 7. December 2020, online.

Also for sale is ATELIERFRANKFURT's first wearable exhibition, realized in collaboration with Lichtblau Siebdruck. Six artists* from the AF have designed motifs for a bag edition (edition of 30). With every bag purchased, art leaves the studios and you support new projects by the artists and creatives of the AF. The sales proceeds go in equal parts to the artists, the screen printing workshop Lichtblau Siebdruck and the non-profit association Atelierfrankfurt, which finances the production costs from the proceeds.
