The marketing of catering space in the new Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport has been completed. Renowned partners Avolta and Lagardère Travel Retail will operate the spaces and provide a diverse range of culinary offerings. Avolta will take over twelve locations, including the central Non-Schengen market square and the departure hall. Lagardère will operate ten catering areas, including in the arrivals hall, as well as six additional spaces for travel essentials.
"With innovative concepts and high quality standards, Avolta and Lagardère will significantly enrich the catering offering," emphasised Anke Giesen, Executive Board Member Retail & Real Estate at Fraport. German bakeries, trendy bars, sushi locations and Italian restaurants will be offered on a total of 2,900 square metres. The focus will be on two food courts and a central bar in the market square, the heart of the terminal.
The marketing of the retail space is also almost complete: around 65 spaces covering 12,000 square metres have been allocated, including shops, duty-free areas and service units. With a diverse and high-quality offering, the terminal is geared towards up to 19 million passengers per year, who are expected from the 2026 summer flight schedule onwards.
