Last Sunday, cider lovers from all over the world met again in the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten to discover and taste at the big cider fair CiderWorld what can be made from an apple. Besides this year's guest country Ireland, which was represented by several suppliers, exhibitors from 17 countries presented their products at the fair. In the first few hours, only trade visitors and the press were able to find out about the latest trends from the 97 exhibitors, before the doors were then opened to all visitors. As in previous years, there was a particularly pleasant atmosphere in the best spring weather, which was created not only by the beautiful ambience of the Gesellschaftshaus, but also by the international diversity of the products on offer.
Michael Stöckl, initiator of the fair, was not only satisfied with the number of visitors. The popularity of the events of the 2nd Frankfurt CiderWeek, which preceded the trade fair, as well as the presentation of the 1st CiderWorld Award on the day before the trade fair had fulfilled all expectations - and even exceeded them in some cases. The CiderWorld Award was presented in four categories by a jury of 30 international experts. The winners were then, of course, presented to a wider audience once again at the fair.

Over the last few years, the cider fair has grown steadily, becoming more international (hence the new name CiderWorld) and also trying to get the word out more with promotions like CiderWeek. It's an exciting development that is guaranteed to provide some more highlights and surprises in the coming years. We are excited!
