On Friday the WELCOME BACK EDITION 2017
ENDLICH!!!! takes place. Summer is here and with it comes the return of an event that is now in its third year of steadily increasing popularity: the beautiful FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY on the grounds around the Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt. The feasting season will open on Friday (23 June) on the Butterflower Meadow around the pond. And the weather will be great - what more could you want? Food trucks with delicious food of course! No problem, because they'll be lining up again this year to be a part of the biggest and coziest street food event of the year. Of course, many of the favourites from previous years will be there. But also new gourmet temples on four wheels have already announced themselves.
Next to burgers deluxe, BBQ ribs, taccos and tortillas, this time it will also be oriental, Asian and transcontinental. Fusion food meets brutally regional, salads from the sea meets spaetzle deluxe. Classics like Truck Up, Veggiewerk, Juices & More and Crêperia da Laurella are at it again. In addition, you can also discover a lot of new things at the first FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY of the year. For example, how about the Matroschka Food Collection and their Rolling Shashlik? Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside - a straight-up Russian barbecue classic!
Or rather, your mouth waters when you listen to the sizzling process from Mr. Adobo Foodtruck: "Usually, Filipino adobo uses pork or chicken or a combination of both. The pieces of meat are slow cooked in a soy sauce, with vinegar, ground garlic, a bay leaf and pepper, and mostly browned in an oven or skillet to give it a crispy side. As a side dish, people usually eat rice or pancit."
And, have you gotten hungry yet too? Then be sure to come out to the Century Hall on Friday! It starts at 3 pm and you can feast until 10 pm! Then, under blue skies and summery temperatures, about 50 trucks will offer their delicacies. In addition, there will of course be drinks stands and one or the other surprise in the supporting programme.
