The Iseborjer Kultursommer brings open air culture to the sports park

The summer is becoming culturally colorful and musically diverse. Concerts and other cultural events under the open sky are currently enjoying great popularity throughout Germany. Also in Neu-Isenburg the motto is: Get out into the open! The event agency 12 Löwen made an early effort to obtain funding from the Ministry of Science and the Arts. So now, after intensive weeks of preparation, the ISEBORJER KULTURSOMMER can be presented together with the city of Neu-Isenburg. On 15 event days, 36 music and artist groups will then be experienced from 27.08. to 19.09.2021 in the sports park. On the lawn south of the roller skating rink, a small, intimate and cozy festival scenario will be created during the summer of culture, which should of course provide a safe and relaxed cultural experience for all visitors by adhering to all specifications to contain the still existing pandemic.

There is something for everyone in the programme: for example, local heroes THE GYPSYS will be on stage for the grand opening party, where they will perform the greatest hits of the last five decades. The perfect start to a promising series of events. Other highlights include a comedy night with MUNDSTUHL and a classical concert by the Frankfurt Chamber Opera. A theatre performance of the popular NN Theatre with the play "Exit Casablanca" follows a day that stands exclusively for the diversity of Neu-Isenburg's clubs and culminates in a wild 50s party with the scorching hot rock'n'rollers from Krüger Rockt!

Not to be missed, of course, is the weird Schlager evening with Roy Hammer & the Pralinées, which could actually only be topped by the DJ combo Buffalo & Wallace with their freaky "Everything 90s Party". Jazz lovers can sway along in style on Sunday afternoons to the charismatic grooves of New Orleans, Dixi and swing, as well as upbeat tango sounds, while just a week later there will be a whole day dedicated to families and children with lots of hands-on activities. The popular streaming format CLUB 8, known from YouTube, is also represented with regional artists, so the young Giessen Schlager-Pop-Band Lebendig comes to the stage, but also the spaghetti ska sensation Gastone from Frankfurt and last but not least Oceana, who has been awarded many times with golden records worldwide.

Through Disko Partizani Shantel became internationally famous with his Balkan beats and gives the guests a special evening with a selected DJ set. The traditional OPEN DOORS Festival is the crowning finale of the cultural summer, which has a lot to offer on four days, although only on one stage: Thursday the "Local Heroes" are on stage and show what the next generation of rock has to offer. Friday is all about the rock legends, when perfectly matched tribute bands perform the greatest hits by Journey, Deep Purple and AC/DC. Then things get a little more varied, as the Revolte Tanzbein comes in alongside the gutter hits of the Ärzte and Toten Hosen, followed by rousing acoustic rock from Hartmann, while the highlight of the evening is the hot show from 80s party rockers RÿffHuntR, which will leave the air shimmering. Sunday gets cosy at first with hearty country followed by the finest oldies, but then The Gypsys plus Brass Ballet board the stage once more and, together with the RODGAU MONOTONES, provide the perfect end to the series of events.

So this new format is taking place, with up to 1,000 people able to take their place on the site. Admission is free, but a ticket must be booked online - not least to control the flow of visitors in line with the pandemic and keep any contagion risks to zero as far as possible.
