The Live Entertainment Award (PRG LEA) 2020 is cancelled

The Live Entertainment Award (PRG LEA) 2020 - the German Live Entertainment Award - has now been cancelled due to the Corona epidemic by the organizer, the Live Entertainment Award Committe e.V., also cancelled.

The gala was scheduled to take place for the 15th time on Monday, March 30, 2020 at the Festhalle Frankfurt am Main.

The event, hailed by many as one of the cultural sector's most impressive awards ceremonies, has been the official kick-off for Musikmesse as well as Prolight + Sound for the past nine years.

After the two flagship fairs had already been cancelled two weeks ago as part of the protective measures against a spread of the Covid-19 epidemic, they were now followed by the Live Entertainment Awards. The gala with around 1500 guests - including numerous national and international artists and celebrities from all areas of the cultural industry - had been sold out for two weeks.

Announcing live performances were, among others.Ulrich Tukur with his Rhythmus Boys, the Moka Efti Orchestra feat. Severija, LaBrassBanda together with Seiler und Speer, Lilly Among Clouds, Voice Of Violin, Helmut Zerlett with his band and David Buckingham. As laudators* Doc McGhee, Jeanette Biedermann, Matthias Reim, Philipp Poisel, Pierre M. Krause, Sky du Mont, Semino Rossi, Dr. Pop and Jam El Mar wanted to participate.
