The MuseumsuferCard - The gift tip for culture lovers

(ffm) One year, 34 museums and unlimited enjoyment of art and culture: all this is only available with the MuseumsuferCard of the City of Frankfurt. As a single card for 95 euros or as a family card for 165 euros per year, it not only offers free admission to all participating houses and their exhibitions, but also to the Night of the Museums and the Museumsuferfest. The start date is freely selectable, but it must be started during the coming year.

Included are both large houses such as the Städel, the Museum MMK for Modern Art, the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt and the Senckenberg Natural History Museum, as well as museum insider tips such as the Cowherd Tower and the Eintracht Frankfurt Museum at the stadium. With 26,000 tickets sold, the annual pass from the City of Frankfurt is more popular than ever: "With the MuseumsuferCard, you can enjoy the top-class work of all the participating museums and their attractive exhibition programme for a whole year without any complications. A nice gift for culture lovers and all those who want to become one," says head of culture Ina Hartwig.

In addition to permanent exhibitions, all special exhibitions can be visited - and the preview for 2020 is tempting. For example, the Städel Museum is presenting both Van Gogh and Rembrandt, the DFF - Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum will host an exhibition on the "Sound of Walt Disney" and the Senckenberg Naturmuseum will open new rooms on "Marine Research" and "Deep Sea" in spring 2020. The Historisches Museum will take over the Dresden Hygiene Museum's successful exhibition "Racism. The Invention of Human Races."

And the Schirn Kunsthalle is also offering a new exhibition with "Fantastic Women. Surreal Worlds from Meret Oppenheim to Frida Kahlo" next year, a special highlight. In addition, there are new and reopened museums: the Stoltze Museum and the Struwwelpeter Museum will welcome their visitors in the new Old Town and in 2020 the museum complex of the Jewish Museum will be added. In addition, next year the MuseumsuferCard will again enable visitors to attend the Night of the Museums on April 25 with free admission and invites them to the Museumsuferfest from August 28 to 30.

Culture-loving families can take advantage of the entire range of offers with their family card for two adults (in a partnership) and all their own children or grandchildren under 18. And to keep track of the diverse program of the houses, cardholders will find the art magazine "art kaleidoscope" every three months free in their mailbox. The MuseumsuferCard is available at all museums, advance booking offices and at http://www.museumsufercard.de
