The run for more time 2019 - Join in and do good!

Get out your running shoes and run together on 08 September with many thousands of people for a good cause. Because also in 2019 the LAUF FÜR MEHR ZEIT, the charity run in favor of AIDS-Hilfe Frankfurt e.V., will take place again. The run will take place along a really beautiful route through Frankfurt's city centre, starting and finishing at Opernplatz. You have the choice between a 5 KM run or walk distance and a 10 KM distance.

Also many small young runners can be part of the 300 meter Bambini and 1 KM school run.

"Last year, more than 4,500 participants and 220 teams were present at the LAUF FÜR MEHR ZEIT, including an increasing number of companies", coordinator Anika Pilger is pleased. "I feel that this is a positive sign that large companies are also becoming more involved in the fight against stigmatization and exclusion. The schoolchildren and bambini runs are also getting bigger!", says Pilger.

The run provides necessary financial support for the social work of AIDS-Hilfe Frankfurt e.V. This can no longer rely solely on public funding, but increasingly lives on the commitment of many private individuals and the support of reliable partners from the business community. As a 100% charity run, all proceeds of the LAUF FÜR MEHR ZEIT go directly to support projects of AIDS-HILFE Frankfurt. "Happiness with HIV or AIDS is fortunately no longer a death sentence today. This also means that we should be there longer for those affected and support them," says Christian Gaa from the public relations department of AIDS-Hilfe Frankfurt.

The AIDS-Hilfe Frankfurt e.V. is an independent organization made up of full-time and volunteer teams that has made it its mission to advise and care for all people affected by HIV and AIDS or confronted with the issue of HIV and AIDS for a variety of reasons. This includes professional counseling, accompaniment and care for those affected, as well as comprehensive education and prevention work.

Whoever wants to support this great and important work has the perfect opportunity to do so on September 8, 2019 at the LAUF FÜR MEHR ZEIT!
