The Trickfilmland in Frankfurt: (de)guided tour into another world

In the east of Frankfurt there are numerous places where creativity is written very large and bear very successful fruit. One of these places is Trickfilmland in Frankfurt's Osthafen. The animation studio of scopas medien has dedicated itself to the high art of stopmotion animation. This means that the figures and backdrops are not created on the computer, but are built in real life. This of course makes a visit to such an animation studio a very special experience. Normally, the doors to the studios are only opened to filmmakers, employees, film producers or representatives of the press. Not so in Trickfilmland. Here, tours are offered again and again, where visitors can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of animated film for just under 90 minutes.

You can not only look at the figures and sets, but also touch them and try your hand as an animated film director. There is also an opportunity to interact with the creative minds at the animation studio. Here you get to feel first hand how much love and passion is put into a stopmotion animation film, how much effort goes into scenes that are only seconds long and what details are in the sets that you sometimes only discover in the finished film when you watch it again.

A work show and studio tour here is all about experiencing. Here you can meet well-known and popular characters from television and cinema, whereby not only young fans of the Sandman or the Raven Sock are addressed. The tours are specially designed so that visitors from 3 to 99 years of age can be enthusiastic about what is shown and experienced here. A maximum of 20 people can take part in the tours. This manageable number of participants guarantees that everyone can see everything, ask questions or try their hand at being an animation artist. The tours take place during the week and on weekends. Public appointments, for which you have to register, as well as special tours are offered on request.

The next tour will take place on November 04. <link https: www.facebook.com events _blank>For more info, click HERE
