Theater News: Harry Potter and the Enchanted Child will be even more magical from February 2023

More magic per minute - that's what the producers of Harry Potter and the Enchanted Child promise visitors* for the coming year. Because from February 19, 2023, the theatrical experience will be staged in a new and compact way in Hamburg. The audience will then be able to experience the continuation of Harry Potter's adventures live in one afternoon or one evening with just one ticket in hand. Tickets are available from today at www.harry-potter-theater.de. The play started in December 2021 in two parts and will be performed like this until January 8, 2023. "Our incentive is to provide an unforgettable experience with Harry Potter and the Enchanted Child and to make it an unrestricted experience for as many people as possible. The change to a one-part, compact show makes this possible. For our visitors* this means: optimal planning of the theater visit, an attractive price starting at 59.90 euros and more magic per minute," explains Maik Klokow, German producer of the play. "The international creative team has done a great job with the new production: the story remains true to the original and convinces with surprising effects and magic. You simply have to see it with your own eyes," said Klokow. Harry Potter and the Enchanted Child has already been staged with great success in New York (USA), Melbourne (Australia) Tokyo (Japan) and Toronto (Canada) and has been celebrated by audiences. Director of the play John Tiffany explains, "During the 2020 worldwide theater closure, Jack Thorne and I had the unique opportunity to revisit and scrutinize our play with fresh eyes. It was an exciting process of rediscovery, and we found a new way to tell the story while retaining its heart, soul and magic. Having seen how audiences in North America, Australia and Japan have responded to this compact version of Harry Potter and the Enchanted Child, we are now very proud to share it with our audiences in Hamburg and the German-speaking world.
