The anticipation is growing, the UEFA EURO 2024 starts in less than seven months. Since the final draw on Saturday, December 2, in Hamburg, one thing is certain for Frankfurt: the city can look forward to five spectacular and exciting matches. The starting signal for the major soccer event was given in Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie.

Thursday, June 20, 2024: Denmark vs. June 2024: Denmark v England
Sunday, June 23, 2024: Switzerland v Germany
Wednesday, June 26, 2024: Slovakia v Romania

It is an outstanding event that awaits Frankfurt next year with EURO 24. The city is particularly eagerly awaiting the German national soccer team's match in the stadium on June 23, with the various host nations bringing the spirit of soccer to Frankfurt. Lord Mayor Mike Josef says: "With England, Denmark and Belgium, we have three royal couples in Frankfurt. I am looking forward to good matches in our city and the visit of fans from all over Europe. The third group match against Switzerland will be particularly exciting from a German perspective." Josef emphasized: "I hope for peaceful and fair matches at EURO 24."
It remains to be seen which teams will come to the Main in the round of 16. The opening match of the final round will take place in Munich, the final in Berlin. Other venues are Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig and Stuttgart.
