Vaccination Express also runs between the years

In the past few days, the Vaccination Express rolled through Frankfurt again. The travelling vaccination offer was again well received, which is why another continuation has now been announced. Originally it was planned that the Impf-Express would be put into depot for the time being with the end of the Frankfurt Christmas market. But now it continues - for now - until the end of the year with the vaccination in the tram!

The Frankfurt Transport Authority, the German Red Cross Frankfurt, the Public Health Department, the Department for Mobility and Health as well as the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund will now continue to offer vaccinations on the Vaccination Express every day between the years from Monday, 27, to Thursday, 30 December, from 12 noon to 8 pm. The fixed locations are distributed over the whole city area and all well with the public courses and buses attainable. Because vaccinating should continue to be simple and easily accessible for everyone. A concept that is well received, says Mayor Peter Feldmann: "Next stop: upper arm! Every day, around 200 people have their first, second or booster vaccination in the Vaccine Express. A huge success - and a welcome addition to the vaccination centre and the many vaccinations given in surgeries in our city. If Frankfurt is soon to play to its strengths again as an international, vibrant metropolis, we all need to get vaccinated - it's the only way to get a grip on the pandemic."

The offer at the Vaccine Express is easy to use without an appointment. Those who do not have a vaccination card will be issued a new one. Only an official ID card and, if available, the health card from the health insurance company need to be brought along for the vaccination.

Thomas Wissgott, Labour Director and Managing Director of VGF, is also pleased that this special vaccination offer has been so well received: "All our employees have supported this campaign from the very beginning. Here at the company, we offer our colleagues the opportunity to be vaccinated and we are pleased to be able to make this offer to our passengers as well - and of course to anyone else who wants to be vaccinated. It's a straightforward offer and who can tell their grandchildren later, I got vaccinated on the train."

Vaccinations will be given at the stops from 12pm to 8pm on each of the following days:

Monday, 27. December, turning loop Zoo

Tuesday, December 28, Lokalbahnhof

Wednesday, 29. December, Zuckschwerdtstraße

Thursday, December 30, Schießhüttenstraße
