The BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME is one attraction richer! The Pool Session, which celebrated a successful premiere at the festival in 2016, is growing by another stage on the first weekend of June 2017! After the premiere transformed Frankfurt's Stadionbad into an open air club, the new Club Forest will celebrate its debut in 2017. The treetops of the adjacent forest not only offer an oasis of rest and relaxation for festival guests, but also space for a darkened tent, which will already provide a nightly club atmosphere in the bright midday sun.
While the Pool Area will be hosted by the acclaimed superstar Solomun and his DIYNAMIC crew on Saturday (03.06.), the Gelnhausen Homerun Open Air will now take on the first Club Forest. Who better to host Club Forest than a festival that has been synonymous with palm trees, birds and vines alongside a musical focus for years. The Homerun sends both atmosphere guarantors and rare guests for the guest appearance in Frankfurt, so we can look forward to DJ Koze, KiNK live, Miss Kittin, Monkey Safari, Felix Kröcher, Adana Twins, Anna Reusch and Juan Manuel.
When the guests of the Pool Session on Whitsunday (04.06.) dance to the sound of Frankfurt's cult institution COCOON next to techno legend Sven Väth and his amigo Luciano in the outdoor pool, the Berlin booking agency Polytope will make sure that the forest at Frankfurt's stadium transforms into a club. Besides Frankfurt local heroes SKAI, Drag & Drop and Max Buchalik we welcome Marek Hemmann, Andhim, Super Flo, Kenny Glasgow, Pretty Pink and Younotus!
Be there when this year's Pool Session transforms an entire outdoor pool and forest into a huge open air club. Over a 200.000m² area in the middle of Frankfurt surrounded by trees and meadows a breath of Ibiza will blow! This is pure holiday feeling - in the middle of the city! So pack your swimsuit, bikini and sunglasses and don't forget to put on sunscreen! Because with sunburn you can only party half as relaxed!
