WE LOVE MMA 66 - The martial arts spectacle in Frankfurt

Rhine-Main-Derby in the Jahrhunderthalle

"Germany's toughest league" presents the fightcard

On 30. September 2023 comes "Germany's toughest league" (lt. Bild newspaper) for the second time after Frankfurt am Main. We Love MMA is one of the largest mixed martial arts series in Europe and has brought the sport of MMA in Germany in the big arenas. After the Mercedes-Benz Arena Berlin, Barclays Arena Hamburg, Olympiahalle Munich or the SwissLife Hall Hannover has finally been found with the myticket Jahrhunderthalle an annual location in the Main metropolis. After last year's premiere, the most famous German MMA series is now coming to Frankfurt again with the 66th edition. Now the first fights for the great martial arts spectacle are fixed and the Hessian mixed martial arts fans can look forward to monster duels.

It almost feels like it would come to the infamous Rhine-Main derby Eintracht Frankfurt against Mainz 05. On 30.09.23 face each other the Frankfurt Leon Naumann from Main Gym and veteran Nils Wernersbach from Suum Cuique Mainz opposite. Two men one goal and a hall that will cook. For both athletes it is about putting themselves in pole position in the race for the middleweight belt. Just last year, Alexander Djukic of Paderborn captured the We Love MMA title in Frankfurt when he sent local hero Leo Lauber of MMA Spirit to the realm of dreams with a thumping knockout. For Wernersbach as well as Naumann, who could convince recently by winning series at "Germany's toughest league", it is now about nothing less than to impose themselves We Love MMA matchmaker Sven Neumann as a title fight contender.

On the maincard meet Iman Samarghandi from TA Force Eckental and Sun Ölvedi from MMA Spirit Frankfurt clash. Samarghandi has already competed six times at We Love MMA, but so far had to take a defeat every time, like last time at We Love MMA 61. Now he wants to finally celebrate a victory and comes highly motivated in the Jahrhunderthalle. Here he meets Sun Ölvedi from Frankfurt, who celebrates his premiere in Pro MMA. With two victories in amateur MMA, however, he does not have to hide from the extremely experienced Samarghandi, especially since the Frankfurt backdrop will drive him.

After his defeat in the featherweight title fight against Gjoni Palokaj at We Love MMA 65 in Hanover, Amir Shah Bayat from VFL Wolfsburg to get back on the winning track. However, he gets with Ömer Cankardesler (FuriousFFM) a very experienced fighter as an opponent who stands at 11 wins against 14 losses in Pro MMA.

In the Frankfurt duel meet Hassan Kayani (Holistic MMA Frankfurt). and Steven Drammis (MMA Spirit) clash. Kayani was able to bring in a spectacular TKO in the first round against Alexander Markovic at We Love MMA in Stuttgart 2022. But now he gets with Drammis an ambitious winner as an opponent, who likes to let his fists speak.

Drago Dimitrov from MMA Spirit Frankfurt wants to show after his defeat at We Love MMA 65 in Hanover, where he had delivered no less than the fight of the evening with local hero Finn Grießmann and moved the audience to standing ovations, that he is not only in the stand an excellent fighter. For this he must compete with Said Moslem Ahmadi vom Fightcenter Siegen.

A German duel in the featherweight deliver Stephan Gueida of the Phoenix Sport Academy Kassel and Moritz Merten from the Main Gym Frankfurt. Both make their Pro MMA debut in Frankfurt. Gueida comes so far on one win and one loss each in the amateur division, while Merten with two wins from the amateurs rises. It should be exciting to see who gets to celebrate his first pro win.

The Fightnight will open the two Young Heroes Rene Gilles (Gorilla Gym Hamburg) and Denis Shala (Passion MMA). Gilles could show at We Love MMA 65 with a TKO already times that he has the potential to rise from the Young Heroes in the Pro MMA. But for this he must chase Denis Shala on the boards in Frankfurt. A gripping duel right at the start of the Monster MMA event.

With Denis Basnakayev (Kongs Gym Stuttgart) against Dana Aghae (MMA Spirit Frankfurt) in the lightweight as well as Hans Krüger (La Familia Halle) against Stephan Robert Mandity (Bulldog Gym Karlsruhe) in the featherweight are two more Young Heroes fights on the program.

The 66th edition of We Love MMA promises cracking action. Admission is from 18 years. Tickets for the martial arts spectacle in Frankfurt/M. and all other We Love MMA Events there are from 20.00 Euro (incl.. VVK fee) under the Tickethotline 01806-570070 or on www.welovemma.de.
